What is Connect?

Connect enables the results in Codman to be shared transparently with collaborating hospitals. This offers the opportunity to:

  • Gain insight into the performance of both own and collaborating healthcare organizations
  • Have all results visible in one overview
  • Benchmark own results with selected other healthcare facilities
  • Give access to all Codman users from the different institutions
Who is Connect available to?

Connect is available free of charge to all ERNICA healthcare institutions and all healthcare institutions in the Netherlands.

Are there any costs associated with using Connect?

No, use of Connect is and will remain free.

How do I activate Connect?

See the Application Procedure page for the steps to take.

Are all indicators shared upon activation of Connect?

No, when applying it is possible to indicate which indicators will be shared. It is possible to specify whether you want to share only the mandatory transparent, the voluntary transparent and/or the internal indicators.

Are individual patient data also shared upon activation of Connect?

No, only aggregate results by healthcare facility are shared. Patient data from another healthcare facility is never viewable by the collaborating healthcare facilities. Moreover, in Explorative, results of 10 patients or less are not shown.

With whom do I share my results via Connect?

The results in the dashboard are only viewable by Codman users of the participating healthcare facilities listed in the Connect application form and contracts.

Which users get access to Connect?

After activation, Connect is available to all users within a healthcare facility who have access to the registration for which Connect was requested.

No separate account/apart login is required to use Connect.

For what time period will my results be shared via Connect?

When applying it is possible to specify the period for which you want to activate Connect.

How can I stop using Connect?

Connect is automatically terminated after the specified end date has passed. In addition, you can deactivate Connect at any time by sending an e-mail to servicedesk@mrdm.nl.

Why isn’t the benchmark shown in Explorative?

To avoid possible traceability to individual patients, the dashboard does not show data if the benchmark has only 10 or fewer patients remaining. You avoid a small benchmark by using fewer filters or selecting more healthcare facilities.
